Berlin, 6 April 2022. Project A invests alongside Insight Partners in ExpressGroup, a Hamburg-based fintech that democratizes financial services for the working and middle classes. ExpressGroup’s next-gen tax platform brings a new level of convenience to the German and European income tax market.

With “ExpressSteuer” taxpayers can claim their refund regardless of income, language barriers, or knowledge of the tax system. The product was well received by the target audience allowing the company to grow to over €45 million GMV run rate in under 12 months. The €25M funding will be used to grow the organization internationally and to launch aligned products in more fintech verticals.
