London, 3.3.2022. Project A announces Sam Cash’s promotion to Partner and Managing Director at Project A Services UK Ltd. He will continue to head the European venture capital firm’s UK subsidiary. Since 2019 Sam has built Project A’s presence in London and has partnered with a number of founders locally and across the continent.

Expanding the firm's reach to London has been essential for Project A, an operational VC who looks to partner with leading founders across Europe. Sam along with the team in London have built strong relationships with founders and the broader ecosystem in one of the key global hubs for startup creation and talent. Project A has been able to partner with London based companies such as World Remit, Unmind and Electric Gamebox, amongst others.

Prior to Project A, Sam was a Vice-President at betaworks, a New York based startup studio - where he co-founded Studios, a network of community spaces designed to facilitate startup creation amongst technologists, creators, entrepreneurs and investors. Previously, Sam was a Senior Associate at London based growth-stage venture capital firm Hedosophia where he invested in companies such as Compass (NYSE: COMP), amongst others. Sam started his career at Naya, a London based technology, media and telecoms investment fund.Sam was educated in London at UCL and the Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle.
