About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and build up supplier engagement.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on ensuring that our suppliers are actively using the API platform, and get the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Join our portfolio company, a ConTech Startup in Munich that is building a disruptive solution to digitalise a key area of the supply chain process in the construction industry.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive supplier engagement, with key suppliers, including Würth, Hilti, and BayWa. 
  • Demonstrate benefits of API integration with VESTIGAS’s platform to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Own the commercial strategy for supplier integrations, ensuring successful onboarding and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to translate supplier needs into scalable API solutions.
  • Advocate for automation and streamlined processes, ensuring efficiency in supplier interactions.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand VESTIGAS’s supplier ecosystem, identifying and onboarding new strategic partners.

Your Profile

  • Strong sales and commercial experience, ideally within SaaS, supply chain, or industrial sectors.
  • Foundational technical understanding of software engineering, if possible also of API design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Experience in project management and working cross-functionally with technical teams.
  • Ability to understand and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A can-do attitude with a focus on speed of implementation, necessary to succeed in a startup.
  • Strategic mindset with a proven track record of growing partnerships.
  • Prior experience in a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment is a plus!
  • Native or C2 level German & Fluent English, with outstanding verbal and written communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Please note that we are looking for hybrid support in the MUNICH office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
