With our own experts in all things revenue, we are determined to support our ventures by building and providing industry-leading expertise throughout their entire commercial funnel.
The Graduate Program is aimed to build the commercial leaders and founders of tomorrow. Within the 18 months program you will support roughly 4 of our ventures and help them succeed in any commercial topic.
Our current graduates have acted as e.g. Founders Associate at EU's largest seed investment in defence ($9M, Arx) and led the market entry into Germany for Dalma ($20M series B). Former graduates are now working as Managing Director Sales/Marketing Bavaria at a German solar unicorn, as General Manager UK for an online printing company or as Head of Sales & GTM at Project A.
Our Sales team is a group of experts determined to scale the Go-To-Market (GTM) motions of our portfolio companies ranging from VC to PE-Co investments. The team delivers industry-leading expertise covering the areas of Sales, Growth, GTM Strategy, RevOps & Commercial Transformation.

In this role, you’ll:
- Execute Operational Sales - generate new business opportunities through multiple outreach channels (in person meetings, social channels, phone, mail), test hypotheses, gather customer insights, structure feedback and improve sales approach regularly
- Conduct market research, conceptualise market entrance strategies, create and implement new commercial processes
- Execute GTM strategies - e.g. research lead sources, define optimal client segments, identify message-market fit, set up & optimise CRM systems and analyse data needs
- Further learning opportunities throughout every commercial aspect of a startup & PE-Co investment company, from business development to operational sales, marketing, content, CRM, process optimization, transformation and more
- Develop a T-shaped skill set, acquiring expertise in core areas such as project management, stakeholder management, and expanding knowledge across various functions to drive business success
In a nutshell:
- The duration of the program is 18 months, divided into multiple (3-4) projects at different portfolio companies - from taking up the phone to restructuring sales units and eventually help to build pitch decks
- Learning at the core: Your manager will sit down with you on a weekly basis to coach you. On top you will have weekly knowledge sessions with other department heads (marketing, data, tech, AI etc) to develop you into a holistic commercial leader
- Our goal is to keep working with you after the completion of the program, either inside Project A, or within our portfolio, your further development is in your hands and we will do everything we can to help
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in business (or related degree) - Please submit your grades with your application
- Professional experience in start-ups, consulting, sales or other commercial roles
- Experience in a customer facing role is a big advantage
- High interest in sales and excitement about daily customer interaction
- Openness to travel 3-4 days per week when working onsite at one of our portfolio companies
- Team player with great communication skills
- Passionate for numbers, data, structure and analytics
- Fast learner with a start-up mindset (enthusiastic, self-motivated and hands-on)
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
