About the Job
We’re looking for a Head of Data and Analytics (m/f/d) to join our Data & Analytics team and support us in further elevating our clients within & beyond Project A’s investment portfolio by turning data assets into real business impact.
In your day-to-day work you will be responsible for the acquisition and supervision of challenging Data & Analytics projects across a variety of industries, company sizes and data maturity levels. As Head of Data and Analytics, you will also further develop our Analytics team, a group of gifted business and data analysts that put real business value above everything else.
Our Data and Analytics team enables our portfolio companies to grow sustainably as they shift from intuitive to objective decision-making through reliable data collection, proper data infrastructure implementation, and effective data initiatives.

In this role, you’ll:
- Scope, plan, supervise and operationally lead a multitude of complex analytics projects within environments ranging from start-up to corporate
- Close the “business gap” by ensuring our solutions are aligned to each unique business strategy, are well adopted, and used as intended by stakeholders and end-users
- Support senior stakeholders in identifying the role of Data and Analytics in their business through strategy work
- Accelerate career development within our Analytics team while collaborating cross-functionally with our Data Engineering team and other departments
- Become essential in building out one of Europe’s “most capable Data and Analytics teams” (quote not by us)
Your Profile
- Well-versed in the “Modern Data Stack” and open to jump in operationally with a strong focus on data-driven business enablement
- Experience leading and developing a team paired with a strong understanding of the different roles & profiles along the data lifecycle
- Solid opinions on Analytics concepts, but flexible in their application
- Growth mindset with a passion to know more tomorrow than yesterday
- High level of coachability, flexibility and cooperation
- Emotional Intelligence is essential
- Business fluency in English and German is required
- Experience with multiple work environments (from start-up to corporate) within a consulting or agency setting is highly advantageous
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
