About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Director (m/f/d) to join our Marketing team.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll lead diverse marketing teams, guiding strategies and securing projects that enhance knowledge and deliver client value.

Our Marketing team includes a group of curious, data-driven experts who help our portfolio companies grow their user base. The team covers all areas of programmatic paid media, customer engagement tactics, demand generation, marketing automation & MarTech, and Marketing Ops.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Conceive and guide the execution of marketing strategies along an experimentation roadmap across highly varied marketing channels for multiple portfolio companies with different business models, including paid ads, organic, intent, and awareness for both B2B and B2C
  • Liaise and communicate with diverse stakeholders (internal and external) in a convincing and effective manner to guide marketing strategy and implementation
  • Lead several marketing teams with different focuses, guiding their strategies and securing projects that provide knowledge development and value to clients.
  • Support the personal development of the team leads reporting to you

Your Profile

  • Possess 7-15 years of professional experience in marketing, with expertise in both B2B and B2C marketing across multiple channels and different business models (including but not limited to eCommerce, subscription, app, and services)
  • Have deep hands-on knowledge of at least one marketing channel area to lead by example (including but not limited to CRM, performance marketing, organic social, SEO, etc.)
  • Stay up to date with current marketing technologies and best practices
  • Demonstrate experience in delivering a six-figure+ comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy
  • Turn data points into persuasive narratives to convince senior stakeholders and C-level executives
  • Play a critical role in building relationships and partnering with other parts of the organisation to meet business objectives
  • Use persuasive communication skills to convince stakeholders to make the right decisions you recommend
  • Sell impactful projects to companies, with experience in mid to enterprise sales.
  • Lead a large team/department with multiple direct reports (3 or more) and multiple indirect reports. Create and deliver a team strategy
  • Communicate excellently, being business fluent in English and German

Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
