About the Job
We are looking for a highly motivated Office Manager (f/m/d) to join one of our portfolio companies. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring smooth office operations and creating a positive employee experience along with being the face of employee onboarding activities.
In your day to day work, you will handle tasks such as managing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining office organisation, coordinating company lunches and events, and ensuring employee celebrations are memorable.
Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Manage the company events calendar, ensuring timely coordination and smooth execution of all activities
- Oversee the employee onboarding process, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for new hires
- Handle office management duties, including maintaining supplies and ensuring a well-organised, efficient office environment
- Coordinate company lunches and office events to foster team cohesion and enhance morale
- Serve as the primary point of contact for building management, addressing any facility-related issues or communications
- Develop and implement initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and creating a positive workplace culture
Your Profile
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, People Experience Lead or in a similar administrative role
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a strong ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle professional interactions with discretion and tact
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with calendar management tools
- Ability to coordinate and manage events, including company lunches and office gatherings
- Experience in arranging travel and logistics for senior executives
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience managing office facilities and acting as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in both German and English.
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
