We’re looking for a motivated Robotic Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions for robotic systems. Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for robotic systems
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of software solutions to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for robotics systems, including on-site and remote assistance when necessary
  • Document software designs, development processes, and system configurations for internal and external stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Experience in integrating sensors and hardware interfaces with robotic systems
  • Proficiency in C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
  • Experience with software development tools and methodologies, including version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and hardware interfaces (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, serial)
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.
  • Nice to have: Experience with cybersecurity principles and practices, specifically in the context of robotics and IoT devices
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
  • Business proficiency in English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
